I also think it had to do with breed. I heard small dogs tend to be a little more yappy (she is not that much of a yapper actually) and a little more… “brave” slash “abrupt”

OH and I do the filed line not the bench/show line so brains/personality/and performance OVER looks. Something most people should do when picking a mate.
