I got stung once putting my jeans on, it was in the pants leg. They don't take kindly to being smooshed. Nobody in their right mind "messes" with a stinging insect on purpose.

The wirst is at picnics when a wasp crawls into your soda and then stings you on the lip.

The last time I got stung, my dog stepped into a nest and stood there crying, getting stung. I had to charge in there and rescue him. Ow!

Yeah, lesson learned: don't leave clothes on the floor you plan to wear again. Hanger or hamper. Or drawer.

Interesting, no. We were at a therapeutic riding center and I didn't get to volunteer that day. Had to drive home and go to a clinic. Got stung on the ring finger and by the time I got to the clinic my arm was swollen up almost to the shoulder.

Was it a wasp? That sounds awful! We have wasps here all the time, and driving to the hospital is not so easy where I live. I am imagining that it must have been hard with a swollen arm as well
