OMG! I caught a huge black snake on the perch, in the coop...and I saw it strike at my hen! A full grown chicken!!! So, all pop doors must close at dark. And I will be putting up bird mesh , more hardware cloth, and minnow traps. Seriously mad.

I am going to have to make some modifications so it's easier to close some of the pop doors. Supposed to go visit my friend tomorrow. But we will see how I feel.
My knee with the bee sting is still red and swollen. So unhappy with the wildlife right now.

It's one thing if it is of a size appropriate to eat. But to kill it even though it can't swallow it, pisses me off. It needs to go eat rats and mice. Stealing eggs is one thing, killing pullets, something else. I will not tolerate that behaviour.
