Pedigrees can be created, and are not necessarily true. The genes they express in their offspring tell the truth.

And they would be purebred?

No. Crossbreed to introduce the genes I want. Then you concentrate the desired genes to create your own new breed. The same happens in dogs. It's not like breeding so called designer dogs. Mix 2 breeds together and suddenly you have a new breed. It takes time to produce the offspring and then select the ones with desired traits and breed those together. You know this. I am not going to argue about it.

after building all those pens your going to get rid of them based on a dream? Will you get enough money out of them to buy your kiln and supplys? I know you miss doing that. Will your hands let you still work like that?

Yes, I have lots of expensive chickens and I can sell coops too.
My art work gives me a deep satisfaction, and the things I create are each unique. They will endure after I am gone.

Yes, when you have arthritis you need to keep your joints moving.

A lot of these new chicken breeds don’t even have a standard or a able to be shown. I know you don want to show just sell.
