work was really good today. School was good too, I was just tired. I try not to drink too much caffine but I'll probably have to keep on drinking it in order to function, LOL. Anyways, bed time! I have school tmrow. Late start, school starts at 8;20 instead of 7;20

um why is there a plate/dish under that post ??

Not a post, it's a plastic pot with a little pomegranate tree. The plate under helps conserve water and prevent the tree from rooting... like the one did that Fudge is sitting under.

I can tell you about the dentist today but first I wanna take you back to Roberts middle school years. Because of his autism the other kids sensing his difference picked on him. Badly. A whole group of them would circle Robert and taunt him or physically hit him. They shoved him down the stairs and it got so bad I had to pull him out and he didnt go back until they had an adult spend the whole day with him to protect him. Needless to say he was bullied, badly. FF to today. 2 hrs to the dentist and we finally get there they try to put a mask on him. I said no, he is disabled, special needs and cant wear a mask. She said ok, wait outside and we will come get him when its time. They come out to get us and this lady asks about masks, again I say he cant wear a mask but I can. I went to the van to grab my mask as she leads Robert in. By the time I get back to the door they are coming back out with her saying I dont have to put up with this! I said what happened? She says,He called me an askhole, twice! Im not going to see him, dont come back.
Come to find out she didnt ask Robert or give him any warning at all she was going to check his temp. by sticking that thing in his face. It scared him and he jerked back and cussed her. She again stuck it in his face and he again cussed her.
As soon as we got home they called saying they were very sorry and they would love to see Robert back and that woman wont be around. Seems the lady at the desk seen the whole thing and told the dentist about how she had scared Robert.

That woman owes you a tank of gas.

You shouldn't have left. Robert needs to see how these misunderstandings can be resolved through discussion and explanations. He also needs to practice a different reaction. Swearing just creates a bigger problem.

I have a lot of volunteer palm trees growing in my lawn!

I dug several out last weekend. I need to get some weeding done so that I can overseed in the fall....Yes I am being optimistic during a drought!

I'm trying to get winter rye growing. It will choke out most of the unwanted weeds and the chickens will eat it too. Just need a reasonably rainy winter.
I always have hope! The day I give that up means we will move.
