Did you give her a thorough exam? Check her crop (shouldn't be hard or squishy), vent should be clean, keel bone (chest bone) should have some muscle attached, overall weight, eyes/nostrils/beak healthy, parasite free (look at the skin, under the wings, all around her tail). Mites can be small, so look carefully.
The only other thing I can think of is she might have a minor injury... came down too hard off the roost and sprained something. Watch how she walks and see if she is favoring one side.


Excellent idea!! That's my first aid treatment for any digestive trouble. Usually works great if you are in the early stages.


Cats are indoor only. Although Dummo (my nickname for Henry) escapes into the garage occasionally. It could have come from there. Maybe rode in on the dog? It's a mystery.

We had a pair of blue tailed skinks that used to slip in under our door, and lived near the screen door. But occasionally came in the living room.

So this morning on my way to the swap, I saw a squirrel in the middle of the road, a rabbit, and a fox only about 1/4 mile from my house. It is a young one, likely this year's youngster.
So now I want to put up a bunch more fencing and wire.

My dad likes the purple one. We always like it without ice. Had a pretty good morning today! Went out to eat at a mexican place

I will check on Cupcake (sick hen) again later. In the afternoon, she was still not eating much, but she is drinking, so I may give her some electrolytes. She still dust bathes and takes sun baths, which was not like our hen who got a reproductive disorder. I hope we do not loose another hen!
