Granny's gone and done it again

table works too.

true except I now have "dimples" on the side of the table. OK, its a wood door I converted for a work/sewing table. I do all the repairs on the motel laundry. I can zig-zag with the best of them. Main repairs are the edges of the towels (that "let go") and corner tares in the sheets. Depend on how ugly the repairs come out, either back into general room use OR if bad pulled out for the monthlies.

Silly question but just what finger are you supposed to put/wear a thimble on ???

Had to sew/fix the curtains from that room and a couple of the pinch pleats had "let go" and to thick for the sewing machine. SO , hand stitching the needle did NOT wnat to go through easily finally ended up using the table to push the needle thru far enough that I could pull the needle thru. Curse/bleed and repeat.
Whichever finger you use to push the needle!
