Granny's gone and done it again

And Granny, for the love of pete....make sure you get yourself taken care of. If it knocks you out for a bit with recovery time - talk to the docs about respite care since YOU are the primary caregiver for your menfolk. Look into your options, and TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Respite for Tom, they would put him in a home.

How many days to drive to Florida?

And I didn't realize you were staying in Bodega! Let me know the next time you come up. Do you ever stay at Doran Beach? There's the other rv park on the Spud Point side too. Does your hubs still have family there?
No, they all moved to Sandy Eggo ;) We usually stay at Westside IIRC. (spud point side)

Oh yeah. Drive to florida! Yeah...it was three days HARD driving to get from calgary to ottawa....I think there's a bit more distance between florida and h2o so...at least four pushing it, I'd say. Hang on, let me google maps ;) sure, I'll do a generic san diego to miami cause why not....WOWWWW....39 hours without traffic....add more. So yeah. At LEAST 4 days hard for h2o.

For the love of pete Granny. Talk to them. See if your doc can refer you to a patient advocate who knows the system. There has to be an option other than tossing Tom in a home - even if temporarily.

I can do 12 hrs in a day, but not for more than one day.

Have you ever looked up PurpleAir? It will show you air quality readings near you... or anywhere. Helpful to know how bad is really is.

And this. Find a patient advocate (yes, that's a real thing - or at least it is up north)
Granny is in a rural area. There aren't a lot of services there. We are spoiled in CA, but then we pay for it don't we.
