I guess they could be if left unattended for long periods of time. BUT I have never had an issue. LOVE the amount of light it gives off.

I bet. It always seemed dark in here til Verna sent me those lightbulbs. They are nice.

well Lu is off pouting currently, She got a bit of a thump on her mellon. Chasing poor Yuri from room to room and whining at him to just lay still and get out from under the church pew (kitchen) or anything else he can get under. and let her hump him. She is NOT in season.

Jane, While I got you here I have another question, I bought all purpose corn meal instead of self rising. Will that still work to make cornbread since my flour is self rising?
