Granny's gone and done it again

thats about where mine is but it has gotten thin now and I havent cut it in years. Just breaks off
Mine gets to a point too where it just says NOPE HERE WE BREAK!
My hair is quite thin as well. My sister has thicker hair. I like it nice and thin though. Thin and straight. My sister has thick and curly. We sure are opposites!
I have thin and curly...it's quite....sigh.
I wonder what its like to have curly hair!
When I was younger and didn't know what to do with it...I hated it. Now I love it cause I can still be passable in polite company with a shower and five seconds of putting some goo in my hair lol

2 more days til I see the surgeon. Im a little nervous. Maybe he will say he cant operate but thats probably worse then saying he can.
Is this your first meeting regarding this problem with the surgeon? I don't think he'll operate then. Make sure to ask about transportation, respite care for your menfolk, and see if the good doc knows of a patient advocate if they don't know about the help for your situation.

yes first meeting with him. I know he wont operate that day but if I can be fixed they will call to make the appt. This is the same surgeon that did Toms first leg. He went somewhere else for the second leg. We didnt like the way he was treated. They wont do transportation. My SD said she would come but gas is going to cost me $120.00 for 2 round trips for her. I dont have a choice. But she will be able to take care of her dad for that day anyway

Wow. So just for poops and grins I looked on Humboldt County's website for job openings.

....either they don't know how to take down job postings once they're filled or they have a heck of a time attracting talent. So much potential for me, and that's only looking at public sector....

Hubs just submitted his resume to the dealership that was showing interest. We'll see what comes of that (although he said admittedly he's got a few months before he could start up there anyway which is true - give us time to sell/pack up/settle our things here....also I will need some time at my job still - for obvious reasons.

I feel like he's either having second thoughts or trying not to jinx anything. Now he's concerned after we go visit there in November it's going to be a poophole or something (well, ok, granted November isn't really the BEST time of year to go there....but...)

So who knows. Maybe we'll get there...and it will be a cesspool and we won't want anything to do with it. Maybe we'll get up there and it won't be so bad.

Granny - check with medicare themselves. OK, that may be begging for time on hold but...just see.
