Granny's gone and done it again

I spent a whole lot of time filling waterers today. Cleaned one quail hutch that's empty, and a brooder i am moving some chicks to. Started cleaning the goat house, got one trailer load shoveled out. Put 2 more feeders up higher because they were pooping in them.

well I learned something new today. Pond snails and probably others can carry a parasite thats called swimmers itch. It can be passed to fish and humans. Those that will remember the rash I had on my arm that the drs. didnt know what it was and it lasted forever on me looks exactly like the rash of swimmers itch. It attacks the immune system.
I researched how to get rid of the snails and came across the fish that eat them. I stopped after the drs and picked some up. I got a yoyo loach, gouramis x2. a bala shark and 2 lionhead goldfish. I spread them out to the tanks that have the snails all except the 5 gal. in the bathroom because these fish were all too big for that tank.
EDIT Its not a yo yo loach. IDK what kind of loach it is.

It said it wont live on humans for long and to control the itch and possible secondary infections.

Eastern and central Washington is just like northern calif but you get snow in the winter. You are doing it right. Take a trip and go visit.

Well the snow is a hard pass for him lol. He wants to be on the coast. Our trip should be interesting…we also need to speak to a realtor down here before we go just so we can get an idea of what we’d be looking at financially.

Just got a new furnace! Mine was 39 years old. .
