Granny's gone and done it again

Butter contains a lot of artery-clogging saturated fat, and margarine contains an unhealthy combination of saturated and trans fats, so the healthiest choice is to skip both of them and use liquid oils, such as olive, canola and safflower oil, instead. :oops:
Actually that is not true. Saturated fat does not clog arteries. Inflammation in the arteries cause your body to try to repair the damage by sending cholesterol to make a bandaid over the damaged part. That is what plaque is. Plaque is hardened cholesterol that is trying to help the damage. What you want to do is stop all the inflammation in your arteries.
