People pay way too much for poorly bred pooches. Goose was *only* 2k but Sandy knows what she’s about.

Infuriated with my younger grandson. He is always chasing after animals and hurting them. We tell him not to do that, and minutes later he does the same thing. Tonight it was the goats he chased, screaming and making really loud goat sounds. He has hurt my little dog so many times that she snaps at him. And she loves every other person on the planet.
So mad i could spit. This is the youngest child that has not learned to speak properly. That's aggravating too. Makes me mad at son and dil.
At this point i am hiding in my room with the door shut. I can still hear him screaming. Ugh.

armchair psychologist in me is thinking there is likely some sort of developmental disorder at play here…

busy day yesterday, was a birthday party for our friend’s daughter (turned ten) so they had a tea party…high tea for a gaggle of girls it was super cute. So I was helping out the mom with prep and then chatting with the other moms. Really cool group of ladies. Gah. If we could afford this area I’d be down but we’re priced right out lol. Hubs has also started bringing up Texas…I mean…he’s got some buddies out there but the political/legalities out there dialed it to 100 right quick and..absolutely nope.
That and hurricanes, tornadoes, mosquitoes…I’ve done my time with tornadoes and mosquitoes. Lol.

alright. I think hubs is starting to get up so it’ll soon be time for me to prep the beav to roll out.

explanation on the pics - goose caught his reflection in the mirror above the bed…gave him Great Concern. And then he was curled up in his bed while I was typing this and sipping coffee. That bed will get tucked away and his crate will go there for traveling.
We also realized he likes to chase laser pointers last night. The girls had a blast playing with him - and though I need to work on his selective hearing (there was so much to do, so many things to sniff and playing with the kids he was a bit overstimulated) - he has such a good temperament with the kids and other people, it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. The mom was saying how she had a bad experience house sitting a pair of German shepherds years ago that turned her off the breed but goose was winning her back over

(yes. Absolutely I know I need to work with him more on the training. I need it so he’s 24/7 in training mode, cause when he’s in that mode, he’s awesome, he’s great, but if he’s not in training mode…he does what he wants)

It is a mind set. Just like when I gave up sugar. I just don’t eat it anymore. Once your mind is made up you don’t waver. You just tell yourself, that sugar makes my body hurt and I am not eating that anymore. It is weird. I have tried for a long time then suddenly it clicked.

Skunks are cute. A neighbor back in the 70's had a pet skunk. Still...stunk.

Found one in the coop once. Was pretty scary.
