Ok.. question. If I send frozen back to her, it may thaw somewhat. You aren't supposed to refreeze meat. She would have to eat it all...lol...or..I guess cook it, then freeze it. Don't want her getting sick!

I thought you were mailing her bacon grease, if its not totally frozen when she gets it she can keep it in her fridge until she uses is all. Which knowing Granny won't take long.
