does anyone know if you can breed 2 ee which both have the tufts/muffs with OUT problems ??

You have EEs with tufts?

The muffs do not matter but with Araucana, which are a breed and not EEs, The tufts are associated with a lethal gene. Something like 40% of the chicks die in the shell

We do need to try to not fall for the zeal Ameraucana breeders. Araucana is a base breed for them.

I was in 4-H when the Ameraucana breed was created and knew some working on the project. They are a mix of several breeds to make them.

I had one with muffs about half that size . If I remember right she wasnt a good egg layers or robust.

Araucana are supposed to be in between ees and araucana for egg laying numbers.
