Granny's gone and done it again

get lots of them! Memories of your first turkey. First thanksgiving at home?
No pictures of the turkey yet (it is still in the oven), but it looks like there were a few more things than I remembered.

mm.. Looks good! What is that in the middle?
I just got the meatloaf in the oven. Got all the pans ready for the rest of it and the green beans ready for the oven.
It is sliced beef with random tomatoes on top.

Happy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Heading over to our daughters soon. Some went out to shoot for a while while turkey is cooking. I can't shoot anymore because of my shoulder. Shucks, I lived shooting. But I'll have fun with all that are going to be there at dinner. My son with Spina Bifida is here too. He also went out shooting with them. I'll have to get pictures. Granny, did they like your meatloaf?

Just curious, do you know why the feet/drumsticks of chickens or turkeys are tied?

Also, that does look really good! I wonder what turkey tastes like! :drool
You want to keep them close to the body. I wish you could taste this.
