I had concrete blocks around mine but dog tore through chicken wire.

IMHO chicken wire is pretty usless for any form of protection. I also learned the hard way.

Dh says we're using 2x3 welded wire next time with sheets of tin around the bottom.

Yeah, either a concrete slab or some hardware clothe would work.

I've got more ham than I'll ever eat. Hope it don't start getting slimy

I hope so too H2o, this one is a piece of doodoo Robert had to superglue it. I found some that he said was no good and I said it is too See! I stuck my finger in it. My finger is now glued to a paper towel.

OMG can't breath gasping for air.

PS.. I am no longer "ALLOWED" to use or touch super glue.
