Mine each got a new toy, Mini got a stuffed squeaky rabbit and Sunny got a plush squeaky monkey.

I spent quite a bit of time cutting a trail down to the river and then taking my tools down there to dig up and sift some sand, rocks and pebbles. Found some interesting ones.
Had a treat while i was out there, two Bald Eagles were flying around, and calling. One caught a fish and sat on the opposite bank of the river to eat it.

Hubby made super supper , roast turkey, mashed potatoes and dressing, gravy as well. Then Turtle pie for dessert. Very yum.
Even though we had no company, it was a very nice laid back Christmas.

Happy Boxing Day everyone. I sure hope y'all had a great Christmas. We did. Ate good food, enjoyed cookies and pumpkin pie then piled on the sofa and watched movies all afternoon. May have even caught a nap. Just all in all a great day.

Now on to New Years where at our age we aim for 11 pm, pretend we are in the Eastern time zone Pretend it's midnight and then go to sleep. Ahhhhh to be young again.

Hi Wishing. They're saying it will hit 84 today with record breaking temps for a week.

We had hot weather last month after the rains started. It has confused the wildlife and foliage. Grasses die back and turn brown in early summer, so a rare thing here to have to mow after July. Crazy to be mowing in November!

Sorry, I had hoped to get back here last night, but we ended up staying later than usual at dad's and I crashed out when we finally got home and put stuff away.
Sis will be here in a bit. We are going to our favorite shops for after Christmas sales. This is when I buy my cards for next year!
