Granny's gone and done it again

To put in perspective, even the ski resorts are closed.
Seriously. You guys are getting hammered out there. Areas that aren't used to seeing a lot of snow are seeing just that. A member here on BYC who lives in WA state, inland saw 12 inches of snow with more to come. Biggest snow there since the 70s. Cali is a big state with a lot of different terrains. While the higher altitudes are probably used to gnarly weather in the winter and prepared to handle it, lower elevations aren't. I hope y'all don't wind up like Texas did last year.

Here we are used to seeing at least 2 snows like the one in the picture. Last year we had snow on Halloween followed by an ice storm, followed by more snow, followed by more ice. We had an avalanche of ice and snow off of our metal roof that took out a big portion of our fenced in back yard and bent T posts double and broke two off. So far we haven't seen any real snow but they say we may see some over the weekend along with highs in the teens and lows in the 3 degree range. Winter has been mild up till now but I know that is about to end.

@Granny Hatchet, that pillow is beautiful. Somebody put a lot of work, not to mention TLC into it.
