Yes! Insane. Parasites are super creepy. We were on the Big Island in Hawaii when I learned about rat lungworm disease. And we had young kids with us. I had bought some lettuce at a farmers market and saw little flukeworms on it when I washed it. Looked it up and couldn't believe i hadn't heard of it... it's deadly. Didn't let the kids eat any of that lettuce. Might have been something else entirely, but I wasn't taking chances.
