Granny's gone and done it again

My GM carried a flask of "cough syrup" around with her. She had a terrible cough. hahaha Once she got bit by a copperhead and drank some and poured some on the wound. The hospital was over an hr away but by the time they got there and the dr checked her she was fine.
Sounds like good stuff! Too bad she didn't share her recipe.

are we going to get pictures of your bathroom Cap?
When is your bathroom getting redone? Maybe after the omicron dies down.

Will Tom drink Ensure? Seems he is kinda finicky...
I have been buying it ever since the dr said he should be on it. Robert likes it too making it harder to keep on hand but because he dont eat right either I let him have one. Its $9.00 for 6 of them which is a 3 day supply for 2 of them. Dr wanted Tom to drink 2 a day but thats not happening.

Tomorrow morning the tree trimmers are coming to remove one of our big Douglas firs. It is too close to the power lines. They will also trim some other trees that are getting tangled in the lower phone lines. We will have some more fire wood for next year. Hubs was just reading that Doug fir burns pretty well. Better than pine, hotter and less soot.

will you need to split it ? I guess if a tree has to come down thats a good use for it. When they took mine down they did it with my back turned and ground it up into mulch and hauled it away.

They will remove all the small branches and chip them. Big limbs and the trunk will be cut into 16" rounds which we will split. That's the royal "we" as hubs really will do most of the splitting. We can also take it up to the farm and use dad's splitter that runs off the pto on the tractor. Easy peasy, especially if the boys help.
They are showing up at 8.

Isn't there something like Carnation instant breakfast mix that Robert could use? Ovaltine? It might be cheaper, and let Tom have the Ensures. Maybe the drs office could resubmit info for the insurance. Might be some mistake they could fix.
