morning all ugg, sleep. I was awake til 4 am ,

Try it. Better than science diet. Is she spoiled? Is she under weight.

She isn't underweight. She is 9 pounds and the vet said she was healthy. I have tried it. She doesn't like it. She has had raw before, so thats probably why she doesn't like kibble. I would say she might be a little spoiled, but she never gets human food.

I was reading about replacements for Ensure. Depends on why he needs them (like extra protein), but seems like it's mostly a milkshake with some vitamins added. Make your own cheaper. There are lots of ideas. Do you have a blender?
Another suggestion was to call the 800 number on the Ensure bottle and ask if they will send you some coupons. Also drs offices will get samples. Maybe they can save some for Tom.

If they would take multi vitamins it may not be needed at all but its supposed to be a meal. a whole meal in a bottle.

I slept off and on. Alone today. Kids went rick climbing. An indoor one. Think they're going to be pretty sore after today. . They haven't been all that active lately. Take care today Granny. Food for thought. Two things for Tom...one, did he by chance sign up for that extra help from Medicair? The one you see advertised all the time on t.v.... I did finally. I'm now getting all this extra insurance, dentist, eyes, hearing...plus they give you 40 bucks every 4 months for over the counter meds...drinks like ensure ..plus, I'm getting 50 bucks extra monthly on my SS check. For real. Another option for Tom. I may have mentioned it. Hospice isn't just for time of death. They will come in and evaluate if he is eligible for their help. Now, it does mean, no more of your own Drs. They do everything from coming in and checking him, to helping with showers if needed, to them bringing in meds, for free. It's all covered by Medicare. Just a thought. I'm going to check on a couple of other threads I visit in. Have a good day!

He has extra help but they dont offer money for over the counter things. He also could get help with showers. He refuses that. Thank you for the info .
My mom went on hospice and the requirements then were that she stopped taking her meds that was keeping her alive.

Mouse jumped into a bucket of water in my bathroom yesterday. Probably been living on cat food and chicken feed. But there are likely more in here, which grosses me out.
