Granny's gone and done it again

Well, I wasn't at that point. And I'm not now, very much (at 11:40, hours later). But it was an interesting couple of hours, I'll just say. Since previous post I went to urgent care clinic where we waited for a couple of hours, becoming more and more uncomfortable, then was sent to ER. Not such a long wait there. More imaging. Yup, stones, and apparently lots more in the pipeline, both sides, fun and games. Got some pain pills and antibiotics to get started on and Rx for more to pick up tomorrow. Good thing I felt ambitious earlier today and par-baked a couple if pizza crusts, will make it so much easier to make dinner tomorrow! Also have a chicken thawing in the fridge for a crock-pot dinner for the next day. Yay me.
Do they give you something to dissolve the stones?

Yours is called Titan Arum.

This is Rafflesia.

They both stink like rotten corpses.

SO the employee who fills propane tanks scratched the farm off the list BUT forgot to actually come out and fill the tanks. Trailer is pegged out on empty. HE is going to have to relight all the pilot light and pressure test the tank because of this NOT AMUSED and not paying for the extra "fees" they usually charge when that happens.
Ooch. How many tanks, Twist?

No, just an antibiotic and a Rx-strength version of Azo. Turns urine neon orange, lol. Supposed to help control the bladder cramping, hence the pain. Not sure about that, frankly, it feels like I passed a smallish razor blade. We'll see.

Whoohoo. Will fit where I wanted it to go! And have some decor that will also fit. Just need the stones (I have sand but I don’t want to go that route in this tank…the stones will be easier to maintain) and to give everything a clean out and we’ll be ready to fill it and run it in preparation for Sushi Bartholemew the IV.

NICE!

Ugh...hate mine. cleaning is a pita on it!

I dunno, hubs had something that seemed like it was covid, but he does test every week for work, and two/three tests being negative....I think there's just a bad flu going around too that's NOT that plague.

painting party!

Wait. International made fridges too????

mother of crap. My worst one ever was in alberta - $420 for the month. That was a COLD month....and that was before new furnace/new better windows/crawl space insulation....but how many units you got running right now?

Oooh I like this color!!!

Sometimes they can be just in that right spot too....

So we're in the midst of a refi to get rid of our fha loan and get rid of the mortgage insurance that costs us $230/month just to guarantee the banks money in case we default on our loan. Doesn't help us at all. They did an appraisal - and they appraised our house at $670k. Absolutely mind boggling.

Oooh, we had our unit blowing cold once when we first moved out here. I can't remember what hubs did to fix it but luckily he figured it out quick.

I used to not be a coffee drinker....now look at me.

don't remind me. Got the w2s done for the employees - gotta get all the 1099s done before monday though. GAHHH

My sibling got me a Canadian themed set lol. One of my friend's kids looooves it. They'll set up nonsensical sentences using every single magnet and I get to read it in an overly dramatic voice....they bust a gut giggling ;)

Hubs has been having teeth issues...more on that once i get caught up on everyone. Yeah, I got my wisdom teeth out before I left the motherland. Pretty much told the dentist "I am moving down to the states, I have no idea what my insurance will be if I even have it...if you see anything that you think could be done in the next couple years, DO IT NOW"

I had a baby dose of...ugh. What is it...the nuts-to-it-all drug....for my wisdom teeth.

LOL oh gosh Granny! Only you!

AHHHHH!!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!!!

Oh Blue, that's misery!!! I hope you're feeling better soon!

Ok, you said that was sarcasm but oi. that still sucks :( We can't really control when we get sick and how sick we get.

Amen to that!!

AHHH he's growing too fast. STAAAAHP!!!!

GRANNY - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Taxes and everything else has had me silent lately, apologies. I was working late tonight too, since my day tomorrow is going to be all sorts of jacked up - gotta take the hubs in to the dentist for 9. Luckily, our dentist is same town as my work - so I can ditch him off, go to work, pick him up when he's done...poor guy. He's had teeth issues for a very long time and has refused to do anything about it....well, that came to a horrible head Monday afternoon - he came home from work early absolutely hurting. He was almost in tears last night it hurt so bad. Made him promise to either call the dentist first thing in the morning or I would call - his first thing in the morning was a little bit earlier than first thing but they still got him in for tomorrow, so...not going in to the office at 6:15 am. Yay my hybrid/remote work, I should still be able to get everything entered. Though I feel like I should have kept going tonight, it wasn't lagging up or anything. It was amazing. Hopefully crack of dawn tomorrow will still yield similar results.

Goose is doing good, MiL is...well...divorce is a messy thing. I'll be glad when we get her in her own place in AZ, and I hope she does well out there.

Debating getting a second bowl of cereal. Hubs isn't wanting to eat - so I'm trying to abstain from eating anything that smells super good but dangit I'm so hungry! One bowl of cheereos just wasn't enough!

Will post some silly goose pics when I'm on the mobile device. Also got a 3 gal tank for the Spare Oom Office Space - need to get that set up and get myself a betta :) (will post pics later)

Hope you all are doing well, camping I hope you start feeling real better soon, granny- ditto to Robert, I should run off and do some dishes and get the garbage out (yay garbage day tomorrow - it really doesn't feel like tomorrow is Wednesday. My entire weekend was jacked due to Feminine Complaints(tm), and of course hubs being under the weather knocks around the routine too.
Sorry about your husband. I tend to put dental visits off as long as possible, especially if i don't have insurance. I have insurance now, but have used up all my benefits for last year and this year already. Ugh.
