I looked at Bettas in PetSmart. Some were doing the back float and others just lying there. Not a happy group.

Yeah the bettas at the petco were mostly livelier.

You get some that are kept in the tiny tiny cups, subject to temp fluctuations and no water changes etc….cmon.

We have a Petco in town too. They usually look pretty good. We also have a private owned pet shop in town. When my last Betta .. finally.. passed, remember those photos of him laying on his side, but he was ok..for the longest time?..lol..
anyway, I went to the private owned store, bought one, it lasted not even a week. Went back and let them know, got this new guy for a lot less than they were asking. He's pretty fiesty. I have to be extra careful changing his water, he jumped out of the bowl while changing it once.

Don’t jinx it. Had a friends Santa Fe catch on fire randomly when it was brand new. (This was I think a 2011 or 12 so hopefully things have improved since then!!)
Also…my 2019 truck has issues. (Cause Ford though…)

And right now my hubs wants a freaking bronco. Oh we could trade in the truck for a bronco. Oooh maybe it’s the pms talkin but I want to do murder.

I have plant lights, and it is quite warm where i grow them, in the loft. It is easier to buy started ones, but i want to plant lots this year.

howdy all, slept like crap. Too much pain and have been up since 8. Nancy comes today. I dont feel much like going out but guess I will. All you can eat chinese today.
