Granny's gone and done it again

So, my crock pot has a locking lid and Nancy bought one today and gave it to me . Its bigger which I like but no locking lid? Which one is better because I dont have room for both. I normally set the pot on low and cook things over night. Will the one with no locks dry up?
I've never had a locking lid and never had a problem.

Oi, I'm going to be sooooore tomorrow. I'm already sore....and there's still so much dirt in the back of the truck.
At least the stock tank planter is almost full....I expressed to hubs my desire to rent a rototiller on saturday and he started pondering who around us might have one....well, I guess that's something?
