You remind me of when my Dad got bifocals. He was in construction, in management. But he saw some of his guys tapping on some nails, and told one of them to give him that hammer, he'd show them how it was done. Set the nail in place and gave it a mighty whack, as he used to be able to drive a nail with a single blow. Hit his thumb instead. Hit it again, got it right that time, and told them, That's how you do it, and walked away trying not to cry. Cracked me up when he told it. Still makes me laugh.
