I prefer leather or a synthetic leather over fabric bc of cats ... we had one female we had to re-home as she began "marking" one of the fabric couches and I never could get the scent out of it. With leather you can wipe it up, it doesn't penetrate as deep, or not as quickly. I quite liked that cat, too, but just could not deal with the smell.

My 2 cats like to sharpen their nails on leather. I totally wasnt thinking clearly when I bought it.

yes thats a pregnant guppy but a couple weeks away from birth and yes thats a bubble nest. Means he is happy!

I think I have 3 pregnant. Both brown and 1 yellow. Soon more with the interest that my male is showing!

Glad he is happy! I hope he lives awhile. Crazy how he is already happy and comfortable enough to raise babies there. I just got him yesterday!

And google says guppy pregnancy last 2 - 3 weeks so in 1 - 2 weeks I should have babies.

Would a female lay eggs in the nest, or are they live breeders? I mean ... do they have live babies like guppies? Not sure how to word that, lol.

After the bettas do a mating ritual and do the deed then the female deposites, just drops and lets go of, fertile eggs. The male collects them in his mouth and puts them in his nest.

And a few questions.

Is this guppy pregnant, as in later in pregnancy? I think she has a dark gravid spot if that is not a breed thing. Its the Brown one.

And are these bubbles my Male Betas bubble nest? I dont plan on breeding him. Just curious.
