Sorry to hear that. It’s been kinda cold here too. Hammie desperately needed a bath after nearly 2 weeks without a good sunny day. Decided to just give her one today. She is 144lbs today. Her diet starts once she hits 150.

I will likely keep her on the same brand for now. It’s higher in protein and lysine and Hammie is lacking muscle. And yes, definitely a smaller amount as well. She could eat herself all the way to 280+ if I let her. That would mean she wouldn’t qualify to show…280lbs is the max.

Mom convinced me to plant the corn in a “pretty way”

I didn’t do it for the lettuces or cabbage. It definitely paid off…MUCH neater.

Depends on how good your pig is. $15/lb was a “decent” price from last year’s fair. I will be attending a fair next month, so that will be a better source of info on fair prices. Pork is expensive now…beef hasn’t been too good (or so I heard).
