Spitting is mostly reserved for other alpacas, but an alpaca will occasionally spit at a human. For alpacas, spitting results in what is called "sour mouth".A

If it’s a once a year thing I’m sure I can do it. We don’t get very many hot days here in CA. School vs. running a farm might be a concern, but I think it’s gonna be an overall good learning experience. I posted a thread over at the backyard herds forum asking for tips/advice. Then I’ll decide if alpacas are worth the hype.

I do, but he and I have an agreement over major purchases.

I get to make a list of my needs & my wants. He makes his list. We meet in the middle and look for our needs.

Needs - Absolute must have features. These are deal breakers.
Wants - Features that are great to have but not deal breakers

Currently I am making a list of 10 vehicles that meet my needs list and I highlight what comes with each trim.

We have both agreed that neither of us want a black, grey, silver, or white vehicle. We want something that stands out in a parking lot. Most cars around here are one of those four colors.

I am looking at blue, green, orange, yellow or possibly teal.

Uhm there are three dealerships near means they have the Broncos Sports. I already went and checked and they are several on the lots that are dealer inventory.

It all will depend on what my husband decides in the end any how. He likes Fords so I have a shot.

Bronco sport vs bronco are different. Hubs has dreams for the unobtanium bronco bronco lol.

Lol hey I get that. Though I may put my foot down on whenever if ever we get a commuter car. Though I did get to put my foot down on a few things for the truck (superduty mirrors for the win)

Got all the tanks filled up and Zsquash parboiled and in the freezer for the fish. Thats the most Ive done all week. Back started hurting so I quit

I have a new Rx, Gabepentin. It is supposed to help with my muscle pain. It makes me feel kind of drunk. Maybe if i take it at night, i will feel better in the mornings. My ear is still bothering me. What a nuisance.

So did i mention that i got all the yellow beans planted today? Lol, not too much space left in that garden. I need to fix the fence so the deer don't eat everything. A four foot fence is like a joke to them. I am glad the goats don't jump like that!

I washed the dirty pots, and made stew today. Hubby was annoyed that it wasn't ready to eat at 6 pm. As if he's going somewhere!
