I just heard on the news that Joe Biden is diverting baby formula from the grocery stores to the southern border where all the Haitian immigrants are waiting for title 42 to end. Mothers here can't find any. Burns my rear.

Evening, all. I have a young EE hen, barely a year old, trying to go broody. I took her out of the nest and put her in the grow-out pen with the 2-week olds. I don't expect her to adopt them of course. It's just that I'd rather put her there in this heat than confine her to a dog crate. She spent the day walking around clucking to herself. Tomorrow she's going to get at least one cooling belly bath.

My hen is also a little over a year old (the one that hatched chicks).

In a few years you'll have dozens. Can't you trap them and take them to the pound/ shelter/ humane society?

they wont take them. They tell us to shoot them

What news was this? I heard he is trying to get formula from Sweden to here to get on our grocery shelves ASAP.
