I just heard on the news that Joe Biden is diverting baby formula from the grocery stores to the southern border where all the Haitian immigrants are waiting for title 42 to end. Mothers here can't find any. Burns my rear.

I heard on the news that the shortage is due to a baby formula recall. They must have recalled a lot.

That company had to shut their plant down. 4 babies sick and 2 died. Not sure what needs to be done to reopen, but seems like something could be done to (warp) speed it up.

Behind on pages again. I hope you all had a good day. My grandpa fell and landed himself in the ER. Cut the back of his head AND he is in his 80s.

I finally did some mowing. Did yet another essay. Went to a 4H party at a bowling place (I won the bowling match, which was surprising). That pretty much sums up the highlights of my week. Goodnight all.

Evening, all. I have a young EE hen, barely a year old, trying to go broody. I took her out of the nest and put her in the grow-out pen with the 2-week olds. I don't expect her to adopt them of course. It's just that I'd rather put her there in this heat than confine her to a dog crate. She spent the day walking around clucking to herself. Tomorrow she's going to get at least one cooling belly bath.

Have 4 broodies at the moment. 1 is being broken, 2 are hatching, and one will get some grafted chicks.
