Yup. Been dx'd as plantar fasciitis. I got the Dr Scholl's pads to put in my shoes and have been doing the exercises as told, but ... not much improvement. If anything, the other foot has decided to get in on the act as well.
Discouraging.

That sounds good. We're more than 6 inches below average for the year and none in sight.Huzzah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hopefully hay will be affordable this year.

That's a pretty pic.
I wormed my chickens earlier this week. Last night i went out and shined a light on the poop boards to make certain I didn't see any worms in their poop. Understanding, of course, that many worms/eggs are invisible to the eye. And ... there were worms wiggling in the poop! Dang! But when I scooped it up and looked closer, I came to the conclusion that I was actually seeing maggots! I scooped out as much as I could. This morning I googled a bit then went out with a container of plain table salt, and top-dressed the poop trays real good with it. Salt kills maggots. Fortunately, all the chickens appear clean and healthy. And I aim to keep them that way!
