OH and while dragging Polka out of the creek I look over by the fence and there lies another DOA , turned out to be Martinika who was due to calve. So down 2 cows and 2 calves so far this year.

I wonder if Yak/animals grieve.

Twisty and Sonny and Hailey and a few others were all down where we pulled Polka out , then Twisty went looking and grunting before returning to the pull out site.

I'm sure they do.

Night! Sigh. Tomorrow will consist of groc shop, couple hours of work (that will be work from home cause ain’t no way I’m wasting my time commuting on my sacred Friday - just gotta enter a bunch of invoices and request a few copies/check with other admin if they’re in the to be approved stack. Things have been such a gong show with the covid. Messing up my ap groove.

Bad pain day for me and Star. She must of fell when she was outside. She mostly can't walk. L needed to stand her up a few times and Robert carried her to bed but she didnt stay. She is dragging her back end around. I gave her aspirin but didnt notice a difference. It was too late to call the vet. If she isnt better in the morning I will call.
