I am pretty sure they give food and water, but may suspend medication except for pain meds. Comfort measures. Sometimes patients refuse to eat or drink.

If he's comatose he can't eat or drink, and they won't do a feeding tube. Sorry, Pert.

Oh dear! Hope she does okay, Granny. The shot should help it not be as serious. Especially since she has asthma.

The house seems so empty w/o Star in it. I grabbed 3 treats last night to go to bed. This is hard. 15 years she has followed me to bed.
