I like real pear trees , that flower and produce pears! We like them here..
I wish i had some idea when mine might kid! I had plans, but i think Mel bred them through the fence! The kidding date for the two preggo does is slightly off. I’m predicting a late July due date for Hazel and an early-mid August due date for Cashew. Turns out the vet here works through a landline #, so I guess I’ll have to give her a call sometime this week.
Ooooooh. Yeah... removing the invasive stuff. Some states have even banned them, but they will make great firewood, as most fruit trees do. Not quite as good as oak, but it burns hot.they are flowering pears.
Lol. I only know cause I am in contact with the breeder I bought them from. She already has 6 kids on the ground and one more doe to kid. I haven’t gotten the chance to ask her why she breeds for summer kids. Seems counterintuitive.I wish i had some idea when mine might kid! I had plans, but i think Mel bred them through the fence!
Well newborn kids need to be kept warm. Much easier for them to survive in summer.Lol. I only know cause I am in contact with the breeder I bought them from.
