Thanks, Cynthia! I just needed to hear that the bleeding is normal, it kinda freaked me out. Otherwise I think we're doing okay. There's lots of info on what to do, but I hadn't seen anything that said, "be ready for lots of blood!" Lol. Thanks. We will carry on!They bleed like crazy. I've got photos of how I've taken care of it. I e posted it somewhere on here..not sure I can find it. Takes a while to post all of how. I'll look and see if I can find that post.
Austin. He's got several, but this one was in a place in his arm that kept getting hit. Got sensitive so he had it taken out.Glad you had a good day Cynthia. Love yellow squash. I peel it and fry it with onions in bacon grease . Havent made any in a few yrs though.

Oh, that just breaks my heart to hear of another whose life was ended by such miserable diseases! He was 66. Had parkinson's and dementia.
I try to make sure to have quik stop on hand. My friend has a rooster that had a bumble on his foot that was pretty swollen. She just couldn't bring herself to do anything about it for fear of hurting him. Next time i went there, i brought my medical stuff and went to work on it. Soaked the foot in epsom salts to loosen it up. . Removed the black scab with tweezers, the plug came out with it. But the swollen area wouldn't drain. I made several small incisions, trying to get any pus out. It bled like crazy. Put quik stop on, held pressure on it for several minutes. Bandaged with gauze and vet wrap. Told her to give him lots of high protein treats. He loved that.Anybody? So I'd been treating a hen with bumblefoot and tonight the black scab was peeling a bit. Wearing gloves, I picked at it and it seemed to want to come loose. So I got hold of it and peeled it, and it did come off, but then it bled pretty copiously. My DH was holding the hen and couldn't do anything to help, and all I could really do was hold a gauze pad against it to try to staunch to flow. Eventually he was able to hold the pad with his thumb while I medicated and bandaged the foot. I just wasn't expecting it to bleed like that. The other foot didn't have a scab, just a pus plug, which I tried to squeeze out without much success. When it started to bleed I stopped and medicated and bandaged it as well.
Not really. Felt like 98,° at one point.Morning Cap.Any cooler there yet?
Cracked corn is just chicken candy. They need layer pellets.Squirrels get in your coop? Waterer sounds nice. As long as they have water you can add a bunch of food. An all you can eat buffet! Cracked corn in a huge container would work.
I would get a sponge filter for it.ugg... what else? Fish filter in the bathroom had a bad leak. I planned on keeping that tank. Guess not now. I dont have another filter to replace that one with. Its a small 5 gallon. It will be hard to catch all the baby guppies out of there too.
