When my vacuum cleaner smells like that, it's a belt. I don't know if a mower has a belt. Just wait until Kevin or someone can look at it agaon. @pertnear09 , what do you think?

Be careful, don't wanna lose yer fingers. Probably just has long grass wrapped around the base of the blades in there somewhere. Like I said, easy fix.

Could be. Most people say to take the spark plug wire loose to work on the blades but I never do but be careful
