Power went out at 6:30 last night. Still out this morning. Power company estimates restoration at 9am (that's an hour from now), but I don't believe them. Just to make sure, hubs is going to pull the generator out and get it going. Ugh. Been listening to neighborhood generators all night. But at least we won't lose our freezer full of food.
Phone battery is low. I'll be back when the power is back.

Just seen an advertisement on Byc that said culture is coming for your children and shows a book titled Elephants are not birds. What is that about? Makes me angry that they involve the children

Well, the generator plan didn't work. Hubs just got text... power restoration estimate is now 4pm!
Over 1100 homes, including my dad. They keep raising rates too.

Just seen on the news that Kroger and Albertsons have merged. Will be less competition.
