Granny's gone and done it again

Whos cooking turkey for thanksgiving? If not what are you having? I told Tom today that I wasnt cooking. He seemed disappointed. Told me to count his change and see if there was enough for dinner. I told him no, save it for Christmas dinner. His Bday is the 28th of this month. Just 8 short days he will be 85! I have to at least get him a pumpkin pie.
Well I am and I amn't. We're going to this fancy restaurant about two hours away, Stonebridge Trout Farm, as we have for years, for turkey, smoked trout and AAALLL the fixin's. But I also have a smoked turkey that just needs to be warmed up so we can make sandwiches and stuff for a few days. That and a pumpkin pie and some Reddi-Whip is about all I'll have here at the house. Oh ... maybe some boxed stuffing dressed up a little. ... maaaybe some mashed taters and gravy. But that's IT. Honest!

Ive never had smoked turkey. Does walmart sell it or do you have to get it somewhere special?
Yes, Walmart has them. In freezer case with regular frozen turkeys. Fully cooked, just thaw for 3 days in fridge and bake about an hour to bring to temp, about 160 I think. Is SOOO good! Like bacon.
