Could you still grind it for use or is the nutritional value in it too low at this point in time?I have big big bins of wheat..and a lot..from the 70's! Scott had them when we got married. I never threw them out, they moved when we moved. I tried germinating them. Didn't grow.
I think the one that surprised me the most was when I dumped a box of Jiffy Mix corn bread mix into a bowl, added egg and went to dump the milk in. Looked at it then and it was full of weevil webs. Had just bought it a few days earlier. Kinda turned off my appetite for corn bread and now I keep them in the freezer.
