If you explain the needs to your surgeon, they could have someone from the hospital's humsn services dept help work out solutions to your fsmily's needs. Do I mean human services? I know there is a department that can help.

Yes, Granny. If you tell them you can't have surgery UNLESS ssome kind of accommodations are made for both your husband and your son, both of whom are disabled and neither of whom can get along without you, SURELY they will figure something out. You can only try.
