What about a family member to come stay for a couple days? Ugh, I'm so sorry your hip bothers you and you consider surgery. I worked on an orthopedic unit for 5 years as an aide and people did surprising well with elective hip surgery. If your body is strong enough everywhere else, and you tolerate and are mindful of your pain treatment method, and physical therapy, it's remarkable how well people do. Its the knees that more people have a tough time with. But, like you said, you would need someone to help the family member that you currently help. Well, I'm hoping things work out for you and your family. God Bless you

I've stopped in before!,i love the BYC community and am always boppin' around learning and sharing. And I love grandmas. A lot. I was raised by my 2, (they took furns). If i were to ever get a tattoo it would say 'grandmas girl' across my bicep.
