I went to take my meds this morning and I saw my arm was dripping blood. No Idea why. I rinsed it off and it was a tiny little puncture mark. It burned a little. Now its swollen.

I remember. We used to hang them from a wire coat hanger. It was actually not too bad as long as it was properly crushed to soften it a bit.

I get sticker shock every time i buy things. It is rare to get a truly good deal these days. I did fill up the truck with gas, $2.98 a gallon yesterday.

Why would you make a trip to Versailles?

You know, we were at one of the feed stores today (the one that has Goose's sweet potato treats - we were oot!) and they had some leghorns. Got tempted, not gonna lie. I have a soft spot for my crazy white chicken and lucky white chicken.

Hubs put his foot down. If we get more, we need a flock of Nuggets, not Crazy White Chickens. (aka we need speckled sussexes, not leghorns)

But with feed being well over 20 bucks a bag now....and 17 beaks to feed....nope.

Granny, I'm gonna be a female dog here for a second. No. You gotta put your foot down. You gotta save your gas, and save your mileage/wear and tear on your vehicle on NECESSARY trips. That means doctor visits. Make lists and try to cram things in while you're in town instead of multiple trips out. I don't know how far out you are from Versailles, but...just going out for a burger cause the burger he got the other day had onions? No.
