How is it being empty-nesters? Nice and quiet... or too quiet?

Not quite empty, GirlChild still lives here for the most part. She's fairly useful though, as she likes having a bit of pocket money and is willing to work for me to earn it. Tomorrow she starts taking classes again. Still trying for that HS diploma. I love the quiet. I kinda miss having more people to cook for. It's HARD cooking for only two! Or even just three!

the rules for that contest says no chickens. just winter. You had chickens in yours
