Blue skies today! I'm out in back letting Pi run. Got the old mob shut in for now, but they want the sun too. Placated them with seeds and scratch and boss.

There are a couple of little shriveled apples up there.

oh, BTW did some looking on the cat tails. Its the root that you can eat whenever. Its a tuber and mimics a potato.

do you know how much rain you have had?

No. I've heard 3x normal for this time period, but that won't mean anything if this is all we get. Last year it quit raining in early Jan and we never got more.
Hoping this will be a more normal spring with rain for a couple more months at least.
