Suggestion:
start with "cheap" eggs to make sure it works and you gain some experience.

OR have you done it before ??

I have not hatched before. Thought we would start with five or six. Not sure if any hatcheries would send me that few, so we may have to hatch our own. And I have no idea what to do with the resulting chicks. I have no room for more chicks. I don't know what he was thinking, tbh! Are we going into the business of selling chicks?!?

I have not hatched before. Thought we would start with five or six. Not sure if any hatcheries would send me that few, so we may have to hatch our own. There might be some money in that. Just remember about 50% of the chicks are going to be roo's. Which is why I don't hatch. I do NOT need or want 50 or more roosters every fall.
