Nigerian dairy goat, first freshener. She gave birth to twin does, but one was stillborn.
A Cur pup that is being trained to be an overall farm dog, which means protecting the animals from predators as well as dispatching said predators as necessary. He is trying his best to bond with the goats. He seems to adore the little one, he in no way wants to hurt it, but mama goat isn't so sure. She surprisingly does tolerate him close to her little one, but is very observant when the kid and dog interact. She has lightly head butted him on occasion, but he holds no grudges against her. I think he'll wiggle his way into their tolerances yet.

Here is an indication that she is becoming comfortable or maybe a bit tolerant with him as she turned her head away to look at something behind her. Almost every time he interacts he lays down, which in animal language means, I'm not a threat or I want to be friends.
