Don't miss the crowds, don't miss the long drive home. But I do miss seeing one of Gods extreme natural wonders. It is awe inspiring to witness in person. So are we, unfortunately alot of backyard breeders here just... don't care. Mississippi largest ag industry is poultry (broiler) and if we test positive there a broiler farm maybe two mile from us. I may have bias knowing many of the people in the ag sector here are genuinely wanting what's best for us farmers and not a alternative agenda. Plus dealing with dairy goats we know first hand the dangers of infectious diseases and protocol.

Yeah. In California they are pretty ruthless about AI and Newcastle. If you are in the radius of an infected area, they don't bother testing, they destroy the birds.
The few large poultry producers (mostly turkeys) closest to us have all shut down in the past few years.

Mississippi a little more merciful they won't cull if local flocks test negative but will keep surveillance for a X period of time.

Oh, like Albrecht Drurer's Praying Hands? Do you know the story behind that painting? It's quite touching. Ah well, tomorrow's another day. We're headed to St L tomorrow, the ManChild (formerly The Kid) gets another home leave. I don't think we'll be home in time to watch the Super Bowl commercials. Uh, I mean the game, of course, the GAME!

Swollen ankles, feet and legs (oedema)​

Sometimes my feet get swollen, so I make this drink. It really makes me pee and takes away the swollen feet.
I don't know if it will work the same for you, but you could try it.

1 quart water
1 Tablespoon raw honey
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice, it can be a lemon juiced or the lemon juice concentrate.
If this recipe doesn't seem strong enough in flavor you can always add more of each to your quart.

I hardly ever make just one quart. I usually make a gallon and drink all of it in a day, plus water as well.

It's the vinegar and lemon juice that does the trick.

I'm camp both can be of use, however either way don't diss someone for preferring one or another as long everyone is respectful y'know? I've seen some horrible things from doctors (My mom being denied care for her weight then learning she had untreated pcos that led to emergency hysterectomy) and the holistic community (IE telling people to drink citrus essential oils or EO curse autism). I grew up reading my mom's herbalism books but if it wasn't for doctors we wouldn't know what was wrong with me and gotten me medication that helps.

morning all, been up since 10. no sleep last night. Maybe 4 hrs.

I'm sure thankful for mine. They help me a lot in different ways. Especially when I'm down.

SD has pleurisy and a partial collapsed lung.

Both are so painful.
