There is some cold weather blowing down from Alaska. It was super windy yesterday and going to be freezing tomorrow. There is even a chance for snow!
Went for a short walk with Pi at the lake on our way home from the feed store. Too windy for comfort, but saw some pretty birds.
Apologies for fuzzy phone pics. Hard to hold still in that gale.

I watched this mob race over and try to mug a cormorant that had just surfaced with a sizeable fish. It was hard to tell, but I think the cormorant got its meal.
You can see how windy it is.

The robins have been in our neighborhood for a few weeks now. They eat coroneaster berries. Cotoneasters grow like weeds around here, and we only had on bush left with any berries. Must have 20-30 robins... found it and stripped it bare.

The bush was alive with birds!

I put a blue dot on each robin. There were so many more flapping around.

I wanted to dig out a real camera to get some decent pics, but I was too late.

No more berries.

Not a single one...
