Granny's gone and done it again

I've got one of my Shi Tzu dogs from rescue folks that rescue. She was well taken care of. And..as one that rescued..there is no making money in it at all. In fact, most put their own money in it to help the dogs.
Actually that isn’t true any more. There are rescues importing dogs from overseas and selling them for a lot of money. It used be most rescues were good but now they are a big money making operation. They are also run tax free so they pay no taxes on their income. peta is the same. Very little of their money actually goes into the animals. Mostly pay their staff big salaries.

It took me years to get a diagnosis. Not all of the drs were like this. Some though, were quite uncompastionate. The last Neuro I went to was great. That man just sat there after talking with me, with him shaking one leg up and down trying to figure me out. Bless his heart, he took what I found out from a specialist up north, and said..we can work with this! Told me that it may take a few tries with meds but said ..we have a lot of different opportunities. Finally found the right guy. ..

I, too, used to play at being a horse when I was young. I was fortunate enough to actually have horses for a period of my life as an adult. It was all I dreamed of, and more. ❤️❤️❤️
We have two minis, use to have big horses but unfortunately them to EPM and overian cancer. I lost my mini due to a water snake t.t lovely animals but the vet bills hurt.

Wow, Cynthia. Powerful stuff. And yeah, it needed to be said.

Aww, Heny, sorry to hear of the losses of your horses, that's really sad. And tes, they can be expensive!
Unfortunately it's life.

I would say depending where you live horses can be affordable but is genuinely depends on region, your discipline of choice, breed etc.

Here's what I did today. It's called challah bread, customary to be made in Jewish homes on Friday to be eaten on Sabbath. Been meaning to try it. Lol, as you can see, I did try the one on the left!
